We all need to do our bit to help the environment, and sustainability is extremely important to us at Property by Polygon. We are constantly thinking of new ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint so that we can do our bit to help the planet.
We love including lots of little extras for our guests, but we also want to make sure we promote the idea of “Reuse, Recycle and Reduce”. We have therefore reduced our single use plastics by supplying refillable soap and shower gel bottles in all our properties, and we also provide a complimentary eco bag for our guests to do their local grocery shopping, rather than using plastic carrier bags. These bags can then be taken home as a memento of their stay!
We are also keen to link up with other local businesses who promote sustainability. We provide in all our properties delicious complimentary biscuits from the Zingiberi Bakery in Herne Bay which uses packaging that is plastic free and fully compostable. We have also formed collaborations with a number of local cafes and restaurants which source local produce, thereby cutting down on their carbon footprint and also ensuring the food is as fresh and delicious as possible:

Finally, we are proud members of “more:trees” and we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by planting a tree for every booking. The number of trees planted is recorded on our website so that we can monitor our impact and our guests can see how their booking will help to sequester carbon dioxide in the future.
